Even if you don’t have any experience with used auto parts or selling things online, it’s easy to learn how to do both. The only thing standing between you and a successful business is time and effort – or possibly start-up money, but we can help you with some ideas to generate enough funds to get going.

Start an Online Car Parts Business

The Internet has made it much easier to find customers for your business. There are millions of people who buy used car parts every year. Most of them are looking for cheap, high quality parts that they can use to repair their own or their client’s vehicles. You can create your own business buying these parts directly from wrecking yards, and then reselling them online at a profit.

Honestly, the hardest part of any business is finding the clients who want to buy what you have to sell. In fact, it’s easy to spend 10 – 20% of your revenue on marketing to attract your customers. Beyond that what about building a website, managing payment services, having an online messaging system for customer communications, negotiating shipping discounts, and many more challenges to create a successful online business.

Well, the good news is we don’t have to build, setup or manage any of those business processes. Fortunately, eBay does all of that for us. They have the website, they attract the buyers, they take the payments, they manage the sales tax, they have a messaging function, and they have negotiated heavily discounted shipping rates that a small business would never be able to get on their own.

All of eBay’s hard work allows us to focus on the basics like listing parts people want to buy, and shipping them out when they sell. So, the real trick to this business is knowing what sells and what doesn’t. This is where we come in – we’ve not only been running our own successful eBay business, but we’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching what will sell, the price range of those sales, as well as, the frequency and the number of parts available for sale. Due to the nature of used parts and individual sellers creating their own listing keywords the research process for us is 100% manual. We have to search every make, model and year manually to find profitable parts to sell, and we also manually count the number of parts sold and parts listed. It’s time consuming, but ultimately very profitable for us and our members.

The Car Parts Biz data and training is available for license to our members. Those that wish to join us in the used auto parts online business can benefit from our detailed training videos and more importantly our easy to search database of parts that sell on eBay.

There are 2 different licenses, a limited license and an unlimited license.

The limited license is for those starting out, or for those that want to keep their business as a side hustle. The limited license costs $4,995 and is for those selling between $0 and $60,000 per year. Selling more than $60,000 per year requires the license holder to upgrade to the unlimited license. The upgrade cost is the difference between the limited and unlimited license fee (currently $5,000). The limited license includes lifetime access to all of the Car Parts Biz data, the training, access
to the members-only Facebook group, and any updates or modifications to the data.

The unlimited license costs $9,995 and gives lifetime access to all of the Car Parts Biz data, the training, access to the members-only Facebook group, and any updates or modifications to the data. The unlimited license does not have an annual selling cap, and is designed for those who choose to grow their business beyond $60,000 in sales per year.

Both the limited and unlimited licenses have access to all of the data and all of the training. The only difference is how large you intend to grow your business. The reason for the limited license is to create a lower cost entry point for those who are starting out or have limited funds to get going.

The only ongoing fee is the annual site management fee of $20. There are no other add-ons or recurring fees for license holders.
